A popular Horwich tearoom's great visitor reviews has landed it a place among travellers’ favourites, placing it in the top 10 per cent of restaurants worldwide.
Poppins Tea Rooms has been recognised by TripAdvisor as a 2022 Traveller's Choice Award winner.
The award celebrates businesses that have recieved great traveller reviews from visitors around the globe on TripAdvisor over the last 12 months.
As challenging as the last year was, Poppins stood out by consistently delivering positive experiences to visitors.
Michelle Delacruz, owner of Poppins Tea Rooms, said they are living their dream.

"Had a fantastic time at Poppins. Party of 4 we chose two indulgent afternoon teas (1 savoury and 1 traditional) plus two Mrs Banks’s afternoon teas.
"The decor, oh it’s wonderful, niche.
"Lots of Mary Poppins references but our favourite thing was the mosh mashed chairs and crockery, really unique.
"The food, nothing was disappointing.
"Personal highlights were the quiche, the cheese, the scone and the wonderful Assam tea.
"The staff, very attentive and just really down to earth.
"We ended up chatting at our table long after their other customer’s left and there was no rushing us up."
