A banned driver failed a breath test when stopped police this morning, officers said.
Police pulled over the driver of a blue BMW 225 on Bury New Road after their automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) flagged up that the driver had been disqualified for drink driving.
The driver was breathalysed.
The driver was arrested and car seized
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police Traffic said: "This BMW 225 has just been stopped on Bury New Road Bolton by RPTF patrol's ANPR.
"The driver was already disqualified for drink driving and has just failed another breath test this morning.
"Arrested for drink drive and disqualified driving. Car seized."
