Horwich's own repair café will be returning this week.
Horwich Repair Café, which is held at St Elizabeth’s Church, will be returning to the town this Saturday, October 15.
The repair café, which will run from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, aims to help people repair their old or faulty items, whether it be as simple as fixing a jumper with moth holes or more complex like a vacuum cleaner on its last legs.
The idea is to try and keep things out of landfill, save people money and share skills – accompanied by tea, coffee and cake.
The repair services are free, although they are asking for voluntary donations to go towards their running costs.
Horwich Repair Café always welcoming of volunteers, as well.
