A road in the town centre will be closed at the end of this month for electricity works.
Shipgates, a road off Churchgate in Bolton Town Centre will be closed from October 31 for approximately five days.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Shipgates to allow electricity works to take place.
The works should end on November 4.
To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
