A crash involving three vehicles forced police to shut a section of road in Halliwell last night.

The crash happened just before midnight last night, Saturday October 22, on Chorley Old Road.

No resulting injuries have been reported.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At around 11.45pm last night - 22 October 2022 - officers were called to reports of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on Chorley Old Road in Bolton.

"There are believed to be no injuries reported."

The spokesperson also confirmed that no arrests were made.

Phil Taylor was on the scene shortly after the accident. He said: "It was pretty chaotic. There seems to be a blue car that had gone into some other vehicles.

"It was late and there seemed to be lots of damage."

MancTraffic reported that the crash caused closures on Brownlow Way at the Tennyson Street Roundabout.
