A man has been charged with robbery and possession of a knife in Bolton following a series of thefts.
Police confirmed on Thursday October 20 that Daniel Lee, 24 of Kent Court had been charged after an investigation into the robbery of several vulnerable victims across the Bolton area.
Officers have now urged anyone affected by similar offences to come forward with information.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Daniel Lee (24/02/1998) of Kent Court has been charged with offences of personal robbery and possession of a bladed article.”
The added: “If anyone has any information or has been affected by this type of crime, police are encouraging people to contact officers on 0161 856 5684.”
“Alternatively, details can be shared via the LiveChat portal on gmp.police.uk or anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
GMP confirmed that following his arrested Lee was remanded in custody and appeared before Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court later that same day.
The court confirmed that no plea was entered for either of the two offences and the case has now been passed to Bolton Crown Court where Lee is set to appear on November 24.
He has been remanded in custody until then.
