A spooky panto will be showing in Atherton from today.

Frankie Goes to Horrorwood, billed as a ‘panto for all the family’, will be showing at Atherton High School this week.

The pantomime follows a young monster called Frankie, who lives in the dungeons of a castle and dreams of running away to Horrorwood and becoming a star.

It will show from today, Wednesday, October 26 through to Saturday, October 29, from 7.15pm on all four days, as well as a 2pm Saturday matinee.

Fancy dress is encouraged at the panto, which is being put on by Atherton-based amateur theatrical group The New Garrett Theatre.

Adult tickets are £8, child/concession tickets, for children under 16, students 16-18 and adults over 65, are £6 and family tickets, which admit two adults and two children under 16, are £22.
