Fire crews attended a flat fire last night at a complex close to the Deane and Daubhill areas of Bolton.
Three fire engines were scrambled to Rostherne Gardens at 8.39pm last night.
Everyone in the flat and surrounding flats managed to escape before fire crews arrived and only one lady had to be taken to hospital for suspected smoke inhalation.
It’s currently unknown how the fire started, and a fire investigation is currently ongoing.
A spokesperson for Bolton Central fire station said: “We had three fire engines from Bolton Central and Bolton North fire stations attend a flat fire last night at Rostherne Gardens at 8.39pm.
“Full breathing apparatus was used.
“Everyone in the flat were outside prior to the fire crew’s arrival.
“A fire investigation is currently taking place and the cause of the fire will be determined from this investigation.
“One lady was taken to hospital for suspected smoke inhalation.”
