St James’ is a member of The Bishop Fraser Trust, which also includes Canon Slade School and Bolton St Catherine's Academy

CEO of the Trust Tania Lewyckyj said: "The trustees and I are delighted with the recent Ofsted comments. Whilst Ofsted has made the decision to reduce the overall outstanding judgements by 95% across the country, it is evident that St James’s continues to uphold the highest standards and has been rewarded with an exceptional report. Never complacent, it is clear that the school goes from strength to strength. Mrs Anderson and her team have excelled in their pursuit of the balance between academic achievements and the faith based, caring nature of the school."
