A men's suicide prevention charity is launching in Bolton.
Andy’s Man Club will be launching in Bolton on January 9, offering men a free and ‘safe space’ to for men talk about their mental health.
The charity will meet at 7pm at the University of Bolton Stadium, Horwich, every Monday excluding bank holidays.
Offering a brew, biscuits and a safe space to chat, there are now over 100 Andys Man Clubs across the United Kingdom with branches like the one in Bury that has seen huge increases in numbers.
Aiming to break the stigma surrounding men's mental health, Facilitator David, who started at the Bury club in March will now be running the Bolton group.
Described as a group where men don’t have to battle to be heard or listened to, the aim is to help as many men join the fight to reduce the rate of suicide in men.
