Police have issued an appeal to find a purse containing the most precious of photographs which was lost in a supermarket.
Officers with GMP Bolton North say a woman had lost her purse which contained photographs of her daughter who has died.
The purse was lost at Morrisons in Breightmet yesterday.
And anyone who has found it is being urged to contact officers so it can be returned.
A spokesman for the neighbourhood police team said: A lady lost her purse in Morrisons in Breightmet on Tuesday 13th December. Inside this purse are photographs of her daughter who has passed away.
"These highly sentimental photos cannot be replaced.
"It is a black leather purse, about the size of a post card and has a River Island emblem on the front.
"If you have found this purse please can you contact Bolton Police so we can return this property."
