The period after Christmas and the build-up to the New Year could be seen as an opportunity to do some chores and get rid of a number of waste items, and that's where the Bolton recycling centres can step in.

If you're looking to recycle your Christmas tree or other garden waste, glass bottles, clothing and a whole host of other items then these centres are the places to go if you live in the Bolton area.

Like many supermarkets, the recycling centres aren’t fully open over the festive period but there is still chance to dispose of your items.
