Good news going into the New Year for four Bolton eateries as food hygiene inspectors have rated them five-out-of-five in the latest round of inspections.

Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have rated Grace Church Café at The Grace Centre, White Horse, Phoenix, and Subway at Euro Garages, Manchester Road, all five-out-five.

Grace Church Cafe at The Grace Centre, Somerset Road, Bolton, was awarded the rating after inspection on December 20.

The inspection report states the hygienic food handling was very good while the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety were both rated good.

White Horse at 177 Stitch Mi Lane, Bolton, was also awarded five stars after an inspection on December 22.

Phoenix, a takeaway at Unit A The Victory, 151 Chorley Old Road, Bolton, was handed a five after its inspection on December 22.

Subway at Euro Garages Ltd Manchester Road Service, Manchester Road, Bolton was given five stars after it was inspected on December 21.
