A church is hosting a free clothing event in an effort to encourage people to reuse clothes.
St Andrew's Methodist Church is in the process of becoming an Eco church to help reduce the environmental damage of clothing waste.
The church on Tonge Moor Road will be holding the ‘new to you’ clothing event on February 4, 2023, with a time to be confirmed at a later date.
The event will give local families the opportunity to purchase second-hand clothing.
The church hopes that this will help the planet and local families at a time when costs are soaring.
St Andrew’s often host a range of events for the community, including a toddler group and more.
