The team at Farnworth Little Theatre is back with their new production of Dangerous Corner by J.B Priestley.

Dangerous Corner is J.B Priestley’s first solo play in which he explores the theory of time, showing how the gradual revelation of the truth disrupts family and friends.

The play is set in the drawing room of Freda and Robert Caplan’s country house. Robert and Freda are entertaining Freda’s brother and sister-in-law, along with two colleagues and one of the firm’s novelist clients.

Because Robert insists on uncovering the truth about his brother Martin’s “suicide”, many unpalatable revelations ensue.

The talented cast of Dangerous Corner includes James Haslam, Esme Mather, Nicholas Eccles, Catherine Cropper, Julie Burrell, Adam Green, and Jennifer Lee.

Director, Michael Haworth, has previously led successful productions at Farnworth Little Theatre, including Independent Means, Seperate Tables and All My Sons.

Michael said “J.B Priestley deftly creates a world in which the lies of the characters come back to haunt them. The cast have taken to their roles amazingly.”

“Expect thrilling action, mesmerising performances and large helpings of tension from this lesser-known work of world renowned playwright J.B. Priestley. ”

The production at Farnworth Little Theatre on Cross Street, BL4 7AJ will run until Saturday (21 January) with a matinee at 2pm on Saturday.

Tickets are £10 full price / £8 concession and are available online at www.farnworthlittletheatre.co.uk or by calling the Box Office line on 0845 643 0808.

Also from Farnworth Little Theatre this season is Taking Sides by Ronald Harwood from March 11-18, and Talking Heads by Alan Bennett from May 6 - 13.
