Drivers in and around Bolton are being warned about a motorway junction closure which will cause slight delays for motorists.

A lane on the M61 northbound from junction one to two will be closed from Sunday February 5 at 9pm to February 7 at 5am, with slight delays, as a lane is closed for barrier works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule but they apologise for any inconvenience the works may cause.
