The best of the Trafford Centre received recognition at a ceremony attended by a celebrity DJ duo.

The Retailer Awards were held at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in the city centre last week, and were hosted by Gemma Atkinson and Mike Toolan of Hits Radio.

A celebration of all attractions of all sizes at the Trafford Centre, from food and beverage to leisure and retail, the awards recognise those who go above and beyond to attract millions of customers to the shopping centre.

The winners included Food and Beverage Operator of the Year Wagamama, Leisure Operator of the Year Namco, and General Manager of the Year Body Shop's Toni Moore.

Zoe Inman, the centre director at the Trafford Centre, said: "The Retailer Awards are so important, as they give us the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the many brands and people that make Trafford Centre what it is.

"The Trafford Centre continues to be the biggest and best shopping centre in the region with major flagship fashion stores, an unrivalled leisure offering and record-breaking restaurant sales. Every single winner is so deserving of their award and I’m thrilled to have been able to celebrate with them and honour the retail teams that work so hard behind the scenes."
