The Bolton News has vacated its office in The Wellsprings for a new home just around the corner.
Those who walk past the Civic Centre in the town centre may have noticed our once bustling office adorned with the newspaper's logo has been looking empty and dark for some time.
That's because your local newspaper team has upped sticks and set up shop at our new office in Knowsley House - opposite McDonald's and beside Greggs - on Knowsley Street.
The move comes around a decade after The Bolton News relocated to ground-floor of The Wellsprings in Victoria Square, which formerly housed Barclays bank and Connexions.
Previously, the newspaper had been located in Churchgate for 25 years.

Richard Duggan, Editor of The Bolton News and Regional Editor North West at Newsquest Media Group, said: "When I took the helm at the start of 2022 one of my first tasks was to find a new home for The Bolton News due to our lease coming to an end.
"It was always important that we as the daily newspaper stayed in the heart of Bolton, so our new home in Knowsley House is a brilliant fit - it's just a stone's throw away from our old office.
"We're now even closer to some of the town centre's eateries - which the reporters are naturally delighted about!
"Our new office is sleek, modern and a better reflection of what a newsroom needs to look like in the 21st century. It's also a much better fit in terms of size and for journalists from multiple titles and teams to collaborate.
"Bolton has changed so much since the then Bolton Evening News launched 156 years ago - but through all that time we've remained loyal to Bolton and have always provided a voice for its residents.
"Our address may have changed but our devotion to the town and our determination to be the champion for those who live here remains unchanged.
The Bolton News office also serves as a regional base for the daily newspaper's sister titles The Oldham Times, The Messenger and the Bury Times.
