Bolton motorists are being warned of seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

From 8pm March 6 to 6am March 14, there will be moderate delays between 10 and 30 minutes on the M61 in both directions M60 to junction 3 as there will be a lane closure.

M61, from 8pm March 6 to 5am March 7, there will be slight delays under 10 minutes on the M61 southbound, junction 6 to junction 5 due to a lane closure for barrier works.

M61, from 8pm March 7 to 5am March 9,  there will  be slight delays under 10 minutes.

The M61 northbound and southbound, junction 6 exit slip road will have a lane closure due to signage stickers.

M61, from 8pm March 7 to 5am March 8, there will be slight delays under 10 minutes. 

The M61 in both directions junction 6 to junction 5 there will be a lane closure for barriers.

M61, from 9pm March 10 to 7am March 11, there will be moderate delays between 10-30 minutes. 

The M61 southbound at junction 5 there will be a carriageway closure for carriageway reconstruction and renewal works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
