Young people across Bolton are being invited to give their views on what are the most important issues facing them are.

Bolton Council has launched a consultation aimed at identifying the two biggest issues facing youngsters in the borough today.

The responses will then be collected by Bolton Youth Voice to work on projects throughout the area.

A Bolton Council statement said: “Bolton Youth Voice needs your help, what should we be working on in 2023-24?

“By voting for your top two priorities, your voice will be heard and you can contribute to decisions being made about issues that affect young people in Bolton. 

“Once we have counted the votes, the results will be revealed!  

“Bolton Youth Voice will work on projects and with decision makers to make sure that they are aware of the 2 most important issues to young people in Bolton.”

To collect the responses, Bolton Council has set up a consultation which will be open to young people to contribute to over the next few weeks.

Participants will be able to chose from a range of issues from the rising cost of living, to education and health.

The survey can be found on the active consultations section of Bolton Council’s website and is open until Friday March 17.
