Police have seized around 150 cannabis plants from after raiding a property in Tonge Moor as they continue the crackdown on the illegal drug growing industry.
Acting on a drugs warrant, officers from Greater Manchester Police's Bolton North neighbourhood team entered the address yesterday, Tuesday, March 7.

They discovered the large quantity of plants, and subsequently arrested a man who is currently in their custody.
A Greater Manchester Police Bolton North spokesperson said: "Officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team have executed a drugs warrant at an address in Tonge Moor today.

"They have seized approximately 150 plants from the property.
"A man has been arrested and is awaiting questioning."
This is the latest in a string of similar hauls for the force.

Officers in found around 100 plants on two consecutive days on Bury Road, BL2, and Bolton Road, Westhoughton on January 18 and 19 respectively.
And last month, February 20, a police raid yielded a further 150 plants at an address in Halliwell.
