Amir Khan has visited the Pakistani Restaurant of the year on his return from Dubai.
The Khans were back in Bolton for a family wedding, as Amir’s sister Mariyah Khan kicked off her wedding celebrations.
While the couple were back in Bolton, they took the time to visit Ayaan’s, a Pakistani restaurant which recently won a major award at the 1st Nation Curry Awards.
Owner Mohammed Jabir said: “Amir came for a meal with his family.
“He chose to go for our famous tawa, as you can pick and choose different items.
“He also congratulated us on winning the award.”
Amir posed for a picture with the owner and told him he loved the food.
Mr Jabir said: “He was really humble and has a great character.
“He said our food was the best he’d had in Bolton and his family also really enjoyed it.”
Faryal and Amir had arrived for Mariyah’s wedding, with Faryal and Amor posting pictures from the lavish do, dressed in all white as she sat next to Mariyah, who wore a gold sharara dress.
Faryal also posted a picture on her Instagram standing next to Amir before they attended the celebration.
Amir’s parents also dressed all in white for the wedding which took place in Bolton.
The retired boxer also visited the Amir Khan Academy while he was back, meeting members of the Round4Round boxing club along with coaches and boxers.
Recently, the Bolton couple released a new series of their hit BBC show Meet The Khans: Big In Bolton.
In the show, Amir admitted he was working on finally finishing the wedding venue he started years ago.

Situated in Washington Road in Daubhill, the venue, Excellency Plaza is a 'one stop wedding mall’ which will consist of 18 retail units on the ground floor devoted to wedding businesses, three wedding halls and a restaurant, alongside a rooftop shisha bar.
The new contractor said work was moving faster than before and was predicted to be finished by January 2024.
