Food hygiene inspectors have rated seven eateries in the latest round of inspections.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have given one eatery a four out of five rating, two eateries a three out of five rating and four eateries a one out of five rating.
Taslima Bangladeshi at Thicketford Road, Bolton, was awarded a rating of four after inspection on January 28.
The eatery was rated ‘good’ for both the hygienic food handling and the management of food safety and ‘generally satisfactory’ for the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building.
Two eateries were awarded three out of five hygiene ratings, these include Cafe Italia at 877-879 Moss Bank Way, Bolton; rated on January 27 and Britannia Inn at 32-34 King Street, Farnworth, Bolton; rated on January 27.
Both eateries were rated ‘generally satisfactory’ in all areas.
In the latest round of inspections, four eateries were handed a one out of five rating, these include Braza at 96 Great Moor Street, Bolton; rated on January 29, Golden Village at 22 Manchester Road, Kearsley, Bolton; rated on January 27, Kravez at 541 Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton; rated on January 27 and Pizza Parlour, a takeaway at 839 Moss Bank Way, Bolton.
Braza was rated ‘generally satisfactory’ for the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, ‘improvement necessary’ for the hygienic food handling and ‘major improvement necessary’ for the management of food safety.
The inspection report for Golden Village stated ‘improvement necessary’ for both the hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and ‘major improvement necessary’ for the management of food safety.
