Bolton Arena has teamed up with an IT disposable company for a recycling project.

The venue has welcomed the opportunity to support a Plexstar's Global Recycling Day project in an environmentally-friendly manner.

The scheme is running throughout March, with particular focus on Global Recycling Day on Saturday, March 18.

During the month, Plexstar will collect and recycle old electrical items for free.

In addition to this project, for every five items recycled, Plexstar will plant one tree through their new sustainability initiative, showcasing a fantastic opportunity for businesses to offset carbon emissions and achieve sustainability targets.

A typical tree will absorb up to 25kg of carbon dioxide each year, and to consume the average family's output of CO2, 600 trees need to exist.

This project is free of charge for businesses and includes free collection, on-site storage containers, recycling and environmentally friendly disposal and asset scanning with data erasure.
