We’ve rounded up all the dogs who are currently at the centre and are aged from six months to between one and two years.

Whether you’re looking for an American Bulldog or a German Shepherd, there’s plenty of dogs that want to find a new and loving home.

Oscar

Gender – Male

Age – 2 years

Breed – Whippet Cross

Can live with – Oscar needs a new home where there are no children. He’d like to have a secure and private garden to explore.

Oscar might be able to live with another dog depending on a meeting at the centre but won’t be able to live with any other animals.

Harley

Gender – Male

Age – 2 years

Breed – German Shepherd

Can live with – Harley might be able to live with a dog depending on a meeting at the centre but he wouldn’t be able to live with cats or small furry animals.

He could potentially live with children who are aged 12 and over and who understand he doesn’t want to be overhandled and he needs some space.

Lenny

Age – 11 months

Breed – American Bulldog

Can live with – Lenny needs a private secure garden and can’t share his home with any other pets.

Children in the home would need to be aged 14 or over as he can be boisterous and giddy.

Marco

Age – 1 year

Breed – Crossbreed

Can live with – Marco could live with another dog that is friendly and wants to play with him but this would depend on a meeting at the centre.

He can’t live with cats but could live with children who are aged 16 or over if they’re comfortable having a bouncy dog around.

Zeus

Age – 18 months

Breed – XL American Bulldog Cross

Can live with – Zeus needs his new owners to be around most of the day to begin with and he’ll need access to a garden or outdoor area.

He can’t live with other pets but could live with children who are 16 years or over and comfortable with big and bouncy dogs.

Breed – Spaniel x Beagle Cross

Can live with – Frank can’t live with other dogs or children and won’t be able to have visiting children come to his new home.

Can live with – Layne could share his new home with confident children who are aged 16 or over and are used to boisterous dogs.

He won’t be able to live with any pets but would like a secure garden.

Can live with – Rosie is looking for an adult only home where there is more than one owner as they will need to split the responsibility as she could be too much for one person to handle.

She’d benefit from having a secure garden. She could live with another dog if they could tolerate her and be playful.

Hoggle

Can live with – Hoggle is looking for an adult only home where there are no children visiting.

He’d like a secure garden and will need to live with another dog (must be neutered) as he likes company. Hoggle can’t live with cats or other small furry pets.

Bobby

Breed – Lurcher cross

Can live with – Bobby needs an active home with previous experience as he’s full of energy. He’ll need an adult only home with no young visiting children.  

Bobby needs to be the only dog in the home and he can’t live with cats or small furry animals. He’ll need an area of his own space in his new home.

Koda

Breed – German Shepherd x Husky

Can live with – Koda has struggled to settle in a home previously so will be an outdoor dog at first with the potential to integrate him slowly into his new home.

He’ll need a heated kennel or shed outside and a large garden that’s secure and private and has a minimum 6-foot fencing throughout.

Koda needs to be the only dog in the home unless he can be separated with the other dog and join it for walks only.
