Children in Bolton will be able to enjoy the great outdoors this Easter.

The activities are being put on by Bolton-based forest school Forest Frontiers CIC over the first week of the Easter holidays.

Different activities are available from Monday, April 3 to Thursday, April 6, all from 9.30am to 1.30pm, including bushcraft and den building.

The activities are suitable for children between five and eleven years old, and come as part of the Holidays Activities and Food (HAF) programme.

Free places are also available for families who receive benefits-related free school meals.

Forest Frontiers are asking for children to be dropped off and collected from St Peter’s Primary School on Smithills Dean Road, and have access to the school grounds, field and forest school site.
