BOLTON Mountain Rescue Team was involved in an early morning search for a missing man.
Greater Manchester Police contacted the team after the missing man's car was found at Blue Lagoon, Belmont, yesterday.
The helicopter was also called to the incident which happened at 6.20am.
The 54-year-old man was located on the side of Winter Hill and was escorted to the roadside. He was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital by ambulance.
