A man was taken to hospital with "serious leg injuries" after a crash in Ainsworth this morning, Thursday.
Emergency services were sent to Ainsworth Road, between Haig Road and Stephen Street, following the two-vehicle collision just before 6.30am.
Fire and rescue crews managed to move one of the vehicles to rescue a man.
North West Ambulance Ambulance Service said a man in his 20s was taken to hospital with "serious leg injuries".

Another man was assessed by a fire service trauma technician.
The road was sealed off for several hours following the crash with heavy traffic queuing in the area.
A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) spokesperson said: “Just before 6.30am this morning (Thursday) we were called to attend the scene of a road traffic collision on Ainsworth Road, Bury, involving two vehicles.
“Two fire engines from Whitefield and Bury fire stations were quickly mobilised to the scene, together with the technical response unit from Ashton-under-Lyne.
"Crews moved one of the vehicles to aid the rescue of a man who was then transferred into the care of colleagues from North West Ambulance Service.
"Another man was assessed at the scene by a GMFRS trauma technician.
“Firefighters worked to make the area safe and were in attendance for around an hour.”
