Peter Kay and Susan Boyle have reunited 12 years after their hilarious comic relief duet.
Susan, who made her name on Britain's Got Talent, went to see the Bolton comic during his performance in Glasgow as part of his stand-up tour, which began in December and ends in July 2025.
More than a decade ago the two teamed up to perform ‘I know him so well’ with Peter Kay performing as Geraldine McQueen, his fictional singer who won Britain’s Got The Pop Factor.
Susan posted a picture of herself and Peter on social media and said: “A reunion 12 years in the making!
“Susan Boyle & Peter Kay back together again after she went to see his hilariously brilliant show “Peter Kay Live” in Glasgow.
“How has it been 12 years since their Comic Relief video came out?!”
Back in 2011, the pair teamed up to recreate the hit song I Know Him so Well from the musical Chess, which was originally performed by Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson in the eighties.
Susan and Peter hilariously spoofed the original video of the song, which was written by Tim Rice along with Abba's Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaes.
Susan took Elaine Paige’s role and Geraldine was Barbara Dickson and copied the music video from the background to the camera angles.
In recent years, Susan has appeared on BBC Scottish soap River City, first making a cameo in 2021 and more recently a special performance of ABBA’s ‘Thank You For The Music’ to mark the shows anniversary.
