People in the North West will get an insight into the career opportunities offered by the housing sector at the much-anticipated Bolton News Careers Fair which takes place on Thursday, June 29 from 10am – 4.30pm at Bolton Arena Sports Village, Arena Approach, Horwich.

Bolton at Home, a leading social housing provider that manages more than 18,000 homes, will give attendees on June 29 an overview of the different career paths available – from housing management and building surveyors to maintenance positions, IT specialists, support workers and more.

The organisation, which employs over 1,000 staff, provides quality affordable housing to the community and offers services that help to address social issues such as poverty and unemployment. In 2023, Bolton at Home has already advertised 77 available roles.

It also recruits around 12 apprentices each year for its award-winning apprenticeship programme, providing people of all ages with the opportunity to develop careers in trades such as plastering, electrical and plumbing, as well as operational roles across housing services, community investment, IT, human resources and finance.
