Schoolchildren are being asked to get their teeth into a competition to design a party hat to mark the 18th anniversary of Bolton Food and Drink Festival 2023.
A spokesman said: "We are asking local school aged children to unleash their creativity and design giant party hats for our town hall lions.
"The winners will each receive a £100 high street shopping voucher and their schools will each receive a £100 bookstore voucher.
Entries will be displayed in the town centre over the festival weekend August 25th-28th.
The festival will feature the country's top chefs, including favourite James Martin.
The award-winning festival is one of the biggest crowd pullers with attractions for all the family.
