A new business has moved into the former Global Interiors premises.

Loom Loft Furniture and Interiors moved into the extensive refurbishment of the former premises in Astley Bridge, Bolton, and will open in August.

This will be Loom Loft’s third store.

The family-owned business who opened their first flagship store and The Loft bistro in 2019 at Barrow Brook, Clitheroe, followed by a second ‘Select’ store at The Mill Batley, West Yorkshire in 2021 say they are excited to expand their brand into the Bolton and North Manchester area.

Loom Loft sell a selection of contemporary, traditional and bespoke furniture, with Italian leathers, dining sets, art, rugs, cushions, candles, reed diffusers and other home accessories.

Founder and Managing Director, Boyd Hargreaves said “We are excited to be bringing the Loom Loft experience to Bolton and its surrounding areas.

Bolton has such a rich industrial textile heritage.

“As someone with a deep-rooted family history in textile manufacturing, I have always strived to support and work with upholstery manufacturers in the UK and in particular Lancashire and the North West.

“Our aim is to display a cohesive range of quality sofa collections with many bespoke layouts, fabric, and colour options.

“To complement our stores, we put a lot of focus on sourcing a wide range of unique and interesting furniture and interior collections.

“All set within an industrial feel and aesthetically creative store environment which enhances the experience for our customers.”

Global Interiors operated the store location until the family decided they wanted to move closer together.

Donna Burcell moved to Beverley to spend more time with her husband Julian Rickles and their family.

The new business taking their place operates its main head office in Clayton Le Moors.

Now into its fourth year of operation the company employs 62 staff across its sites and will be recruiting for the Astley Bridge store.

The main recruitment drive will focus on a store manager, senior sales furniture experts, sales executives and a mix of full and part time retail assistant roles who have a passion for furniture, interiors and customer service.

In addition to their physical stores, Loom Loft have invested into an interactive full E commerce website where customers can conveniently browse and build their collections, check prices, review finance options if required and make purchases online, embracing the digital era to provide a seamless shopping experience.
