Oktoberfest is returning to Manchester this autumn as the annual German Beer Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary.

The event will return to Manchester’s Platt Fields Park this year and it promises to bring quality beer, food and music straight from Deutschland.

The promotor of the festival, Carsten Raun, thanks the people of Greater Manchester who continue to return to the festival year after year and it hopes that more will “dress up in Dirndl and Lederhosen; bring all their friends and simply have a good time”.

Those attending the celebrations in Manchester can expect to find Bavarian beer and authentic German food while listening to live music, all housed in a giant tent.
