Creative dance and reading classes are being held to entertain the children and also help with their mental health and wellbeing.

Salma’s Bollywood Academy will host the sessions, encouraging the love of reading through physical activity, playful games, and dance.

The Ready Set Dance sessions are also part of the Summer Reading Challenge, which is a national challenge, encouraging primary school children to read books during the summer holiday.

It is suitable for children aged 6 to 11 years.

Children aged old must be accompanied for the entire session.

The classes are funded through UK Shared Prosperity Fund, making the classes free.

The next event will take place at Bolton Central Library and Museum on Le Mans Crescent on August 25, with two different times available.
