Dogs Trust Manchester has lots of dogs looking for their forever homes, including this male French Bulldog (Frenchie) called Baloo.

Baloo is described as “the sweetest” eight-month-old French Bulldog by the centre and they say he has “so much love to give”.

He is best suited to a home where he can have his own garden, as he prefers to toilet there rather than on walks.

Baloo needs to be the only dog in the home and would be happiest in a cat-free environment.

He could live with children over 8 years old and is comfortable being left alone for a few hours once settled.

Despite recently undergoing an operation to remove one of his legs, Baloo has adapted and recovered remarkably well.

He can still go on shorter walks but he would thrive with adopters who are not looking for a hyperactive dog.

Instead, he enjoys plenty of playtime in the garden and snuggling on the sofa.

Baloo has been a wonderful companion for his foster carers during their home office days and he is currently living there rather than at the centre.

He entertains his foster family endlessly but if you are interested in giving Baloo a new home, you can submit an application via the Dogs Trust website.
