A pub manager in Bolton has warned somebody will 'get killed' after  yet another crash outside her business.

There have been a number of crashes in the area and now there are calls to make the junction safer by installing measures on the junction.

The latest crash happened during Monday's rush hour traffic.

A Range Rover and a Toyota collided on Fletcher Street at the junction with Lever Street outside the Queen Elizabeth pub at around 4.30pm.

The cars were then positioned on the street outside the pub as drivers waited for them to be recovered.

Traffic was still able to get past in the aftermath of the crash.

Footage shows the collision took place just at the Range Rover had driven past a bus.

The side of the pub was left with damage as a result of the crash.

Police attended after the crash.

Angela Wright, the manager of the pub, was upstairs with her grandchild when she heard the collision outside.

Now she has called for action to be taken to prevent further collisions.

She said: “There are always crashes here.

“It happens a couple of times a week.

“They need to put traffic lights here.

“The cars come straight towards each other.

“Somebody is going to get killed and I feel sorry for them.

"It is bad at night."

A local councillor said the junction is an accident blackspot and he will be raising it with town hall officers in a bid to make it safer.

Ward councillor Mohammed Ayub said: "There have been crashes there for a long time.

"I will raise it with highways and my colleagues.

"There was an illiminator stop sign placed there last year.

"It is obviously not solving the problem.

"I would support traffic lights if it is possible.

"I have heard there are crashes there every few weeks."
