Two Phoenix Nights stars, Paddy McGuiness and Archie Kelly have reunited on set for their latest filming project.

Bolton born Paddy played Patrick O’Shea while Archie Kelly played Kenny Senior, a nickname people still call him by today, in the show made famous by Bolton’s most famous comedian, Peter Kay.

The actors starred alongside each other in the popular show and will be working together again.

Paddy posted a picture on his Instagram feed of himself and Archie, with the caption: “Spot of filming today with one of the Phoenix Nights alumni. Kenny Senior himself, the mighty Archie Kelly. “

The comments did not disappoint as people joked with Archie’s famous lines in the show and many comments were praising the show.

One said: “Remember him on Phoenix Nights live tour many years ago, absolutely the funniest guy doing stand-up I have seen.

“Sorry Paddy you were younger quite funny, still learning your craft.”

There was also speculation on what was being filmed, with some suggesting a comeback for the show, but Paddy has not yet revealed what is being filmed, other than 'coming soon'.

Archie also starred in Max & Paddy’s Road To Nowhere in 2014 and continues to perform stand-up today.
