A road in Bolton is set to be closed at the end of this month for works.
Grosvenor Street will be closed on September 26 for approximately one day whilst manhole repair works take place.
On that date between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm, traffic will be prohibited from proceeding on Grosvenor Street from Barrett Avenue to Matthews Street.
An alternate route for traffic will be via Randolph Street, Oakes Street, Bolton Road, Higher Market Street and Lord Street.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
