A road in Great Lever will be closed towards the end of next month whilst electricity works take place.

Marlbrook Walk will be closed from October 16 for approximately five days for vital works.

The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Marlbrook Walk between property numbers 33 - 39 to allow electricity works to take place.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.

Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
