A 26-year-old barber from Bolton who appeared on The Wheel last night picked up a whopping cash prize.

Chris, managed to take away £12,500 after he answered wrongly twice before being lucky on the third attempt.

When asked by presenter Michael McIntyre what he would do if he won big, Chris said he would spend it on a honeymoon, and a bigger wedding with a free bar.

Chris and Paddy McGuiness gave a nod to one another over both being from Bolton.

Paddy was on the show to share his expertise on karate.

Michael joked about the experts getting some of the questions wrong, saying “we’ve never had a start where there’s been literally double shut downs for every spin”.

The final question host Michael read out for Chris to win the prize was: “Which country has hosted the Eurovision Song Contest the most times?”

The four possible answers were United Kingdom, Sweden, France, or Luxembourg.

He was helped by British swimmer Ellie Simmonds, who suggested Sweden or United Kingdom as possible answers.

Chris admitted that he was not sure, but they both went on a whim and chose the United Kingdom, which turned out to be the right answer.

Michael said: “That was so tense, but you were so lucky to have three chances.”

Chris added: “I can’t get words out.

“All I wanna do is ring her now and tell her we’re off to Thailand or wherever she wants to go on her honeymoon.

“Thank you all honestly.”
