Party and Play Funhouse is the only indoor and outdoor play centre in the North West.

Party and Play’s junior area for 5-12 year olds is great for kids to burn off some steam. They can enjoy mini trampolines, sports courts, astra slides, climbing nets and even go karts!

There is a specially designed toddler area suitable for 0-4 year olds, which combines fun and imaginative play. The area offers interactive sensory floor pads, activity boards, a garage area with soft play cars and a multi-level play zone.

The centre also offers a state of the art sensory room for babies.

The outdoor Play area brings endless fun and excitement and a range of thrilling activities that will keep children entertained for hours.

This area includes a sunken trampoline, a water play area, climbing wall, a tree house and much more!

In September 2023, Party & Play Funhouse won the sustainability award at this year’s Bolton Business Awards.

Party & Play Funhouse owner Catalina Sastre said "We can all contribute to limiting climate change at home and in our workplace. Party and Play Funhouse is committed to making our journey to net zero a reality. We have recently been making strides towards becoming greener and reducing our carbon footprint."

The Bolton News:

Party and Play Funhouse is a proud member of the SME Climate Hub, a Global initiative that empowers small to medium-sized companies to take climate change into account and build more resilient businesses.

“Through the SME Climate Hub, we commit to lowering our impact on the environment through authentic action. We have joined the United Nations Race to Zero Campaign to show our commitment.

“At Party and Play Funhouse, we acknowledge that as a business we have an impact on the environment. Our significant impacts are associated with energy use: water use: food production: transportation and waste generation."

Some of these changes have included installing solar panels on the roof, EV charges for public use, LED lighting and underfloor heating throughout the centre.

“Our goal is to reduce the environmental impacts of our business, by doing our utmost to halve our emissions across our business by 2030 or earlier. Reaching Net Zero by 2040, preferably sooner.”

Along with regular recycling, they reuse materials whenever and wherever possible. Such as their annual sustainable Santa’s Grotto, where they make decorations from recycled materials used within the centre.

The Bolton News:

“We have also made the switch to bio-degradable straws and cups and will be reducing our use of single-use plastics even further in the coming months.”

This year, Party and Play Funhouse are running a Santa’s Grotto, made entirely out of waste, the idea of re-use and re-cycle. During the festive period, Party and Play Funhouse will be supporting Westhoughton Assist.

“Each year we try to support our local community, this year being 'Westhoughton Assist'.  We open up 1 day each year, this year being the 14th December for free, the idea is people bring us food in exchange for a free play, which we then donate to Westhoughton Assist.”

This is a fantastic way to give back to the community that you and your children live in, whilst also having a fantastic day out!  Everyone can play a part. Bookings can now be made via their website www.partyandplayfunhouse.co.uk

Party and Play Funhouse will use any leftover donations to make up toiletry bags which will be distributed to local care homes in time for Christmas.

The Bolton News:

Other organised events this year include the “Breakfast with Santa” which will be running during the day between Monday 4th December – Friday 15th December or the annual Christmas Party which is being held on Friday 8th December.  For further information details can be found on www.partyandplayfunhouse.co.uk
