SPOOKY season has arrived as we look forward to Halloween.

And to get you in the spirit we have rounded up some of the pumpkin patches you can visit near Bolton.

Smithills Open Farm

Where: Smithills Dean Road, Bolton, BL1 7NS

Smithills Open Farm is open for pumpkin picking from Saturday 21st October to Tuesday 31st October .

It’s important to note that you buy the tickets for the number of pumpkins you’d like to buy and not the number of people who will be visiting.

The farm is hosting a number of Halloween events for all the family over half-term. Visit the farm's Facebook page for more information.

Dunham Pumpkins

Haigh Woodland Park

Where: Haigh Woodland Park, Wigan, WN2 1PE

Set within the Park, there are hundreds of pumpkins for you to choose your favourite to take home.

Every ticket holder will have around 30 minutes to pick their pumpkin, have photographs with their pumpkin and special characters, then the session will be followed by a 15 minute song and dance show with our Halloween Characters.

This event forms part of our Halloween Festival at Haigh Woodland Park. More information can be found on THE Facebook page.

1 ticket is required for every attendee. Every ticket holder will be able to take a pumpkin home.
