Police have arrested a man on suspicion of racial abuse at a Bolton Wanderers match today.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers arrested the 25-year-old man at The Whites' League One match against Carlisle United this afternoon, October 7.
A GMP spokesperson said: "At the Bolton Wanderers v Carlisle United match today (Saturday 7 October), officers arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order.
"GMP take a zero-tolerance stance towards hate crime and will continue to work with the club in tackling this issue."

With the two teams drawing 1-1 at half time, the match finished 3-1 to The Cumbrians, who took all three points after two late goals.
