The best cafe in Lancashire will be bringing a taste of Christmas to one of the area's most picturesque places.

The Village Green Tea Room with Rivington Chapel is bringing back its popular festive markets over two weekends next month.

Up to 15 Christmas stalls will be set up and a brass band will perform festive music to get people into the Christmas spirit.

The markets will open on Saturday, November 11 and Saturday, November 18 between 10am and 4pm.

The stalls will be split between the tearoom and the chapel.

Jade Tolen said: "The Christmas markets are so popular.

"There will be six stalls in the tearoom and the rest in the chapel.

"We charge stallholders £10 and all the money goes to the chapel and the extra money we make through things like raffles go to charity.

"Last year we made a donation to Cancer Research in memory of one of customers."

Jade said there will be a variety of stalls, from jewellery, wax melts to dog treats — all perfect Christmas gifts.
