A road in Farnworth is set to be closed next month whilst electricity works take place.
Cawdor Street will be closed from November 13 for approximately five days whilst works are ongoing.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Cawdor Street from Egerton Street to Thorne Street to allow electricity works to take place.
An alternative route for traffic will be via Lorne Street and Campbell Street so motorists can travel around the area with ease.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
