A teenager has been arrested after police say they found Class A and B drugs in a raid on a house in Breightmet.
Officers raided the house on Thursday morning and arrested a 19-year-old on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.
As of the most recent police update, he remains in custody for questioning.
Speaking on Thursday, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team and Bolton's Neighbourhood Priority Crime Team have executed a warrant at an address in Breightmet this morning.
“A quantity of class A and class B drugs were located during the search.
“A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs and remains in police custody for questioning.”
This comes amid wide ranging concerns about the use, sale and distribution of illegal drugs across Bolton and the wider Greater Manchester city region.
Police have appealed for anyone with any information or concerns about drugs or any other kinds of crimes in their areas to call 101 or 999 in the event of an emergency.
