Two Aldi colleagues in Bolton are celebrating a combined 50 years at the supermarket.
Jill Griffiths, a deputy store manager at the Vincent Way store, joined the supermarket back in 1993, while Robert Beech is marking 20 years as a driver at the supermarket’s Bolton regional distribution centre.
During their time at the supermarket, the pair have both gone above and beyond, supporting their colleagues while also taking part in numerous fundraisers for Aldi’s dedicated charity, Teenage Cancer Trust.
Well known faces among colleagues and customers alike, Jill and Robert have seen Aldi continue to grow and invest in the community over the years.

Also speaking about his time at the fourth largest supermarket in the UK, Robert said: “When I started with the company, there were only two regional distribution centres – and now there are eleven.
“In recent years, we’ve seen a particular jump in demand, and it has been great to see Aldi get the recognition it deserves!”
