People from across Bolton are being invited to celebrate the Festival of Lights with Bolton Library and Museum Services.

Get ready to experience the vibrant and colourful celebration of Diwali at Bolton Museum today, Saturday November 11, as the library and museum host a "story and dance workshop celebrating the festival of lights".

Residents are being invited to join the library and museum teams for a fun-filled day of family-friendly activities, including a family trail, lantern making, special storytelling and a South East Asian dance class with Salma's Bollywood Academy.

The event is from 11.15am to 3pm at Bolton Museum and it is free.
