A road in Bolton will be closed at the end of this month for repair works.
The back of Cheapside in Bolton town centre will be closed for approximately four days whilst manhole repair works are carried out.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on the back of Cheapside from Bold Street to Cheapside Square.
An alternate route for traffic will be via Mawdsley Street so drivers can travel around the area with ease.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
