A Bolton petrol station has slashed its prices ahead of Black Friday.

Texaco, situated on Chorley New Road, is having a ‘Black Fuel’ sale from 6am to 9pm today with its prices even cheaper than last year.

New prices at the Horwich fuel court have been shown as 129.9p for petrol and 141.9p for diesel.

The station held a similar sale in 2022 and hundreds of cars queued all day to benefit from the Black Friday weekend frenzy.

The Bolton News:

Last year, the owner of the station cut prices from 149p a litre for petrol and 175p a litre for diesel to 139.9p for petrol and 159.9p for diesel.

Today, the deal is on for an extra hour and the bargain is even better.

It was posted on social media this morning.

Called Black Fuel Day, it will run until 9pm today at that garage only.

One commented: "Both of us awake early doors so we thought sod it and went down about 6.10. We went straight to a pump but it wasn't as quiet as I thought it would be.

"Hussain Babu and his staff deserve thanks for doing this and I certainly did thank the guy who served me."

Businesses all over the country are currently working Black Friday Deals but this Bolton fuel court is taking it one step further in a bid to help the community in the cost-of-living crisis.
